Just installed my Rumbler exhaust and WOW is it F*#@ing LOUD!! I love it. From idle to about 3,000rpm it sounds like a 5.0 mustang with flowmaster. and at WOT it is just crazy loud!!

It's nice to get that kind of a sound out of an exhaust that's so cheap. I have no regrets on buying mine. I LOVE IT!!!

That sounds awesome, looks like I would have to buy the kit with no tips and weld on some 3.5 slash cut. What is the size of the pipes coming from the muffler? (so I know what size tips to buy). Why is it so much cheaper w/o the tips? Do tips cost that much?

not sure what the tips look like i ordered mine without tips. Only cause i have 7.5in Mecham tips which i think are the best looking tips there is, they look so mean from behind the car especially now with the Rumbler.

To be honest..
You're better off keeping the Hooker with LTs and ORY.. This exhaust is very loud and raspy with LTs and ORY..

You'll be kicking yourself..

Thats what I was thinking. I am still having rasp and I'm thinking a Borla xr1 in place of my cutout will be the best solution.

Now is there a rasp problem with LT and catted Y? I also will be putting in a mild cam (224). I was going to get in on the GMMG GP for this month but if I could save the funds I could allocate them to other things. Also, does this pass the CA standards, it's a pain but I gotta stay legal (for the most part). Thanks for the help.

I have a 1998 Camaro Z28 and i am going to buy pacesetter LT Longtubes, ORY Y-Pipe but i was wondering how a rumbler exhaust would sound, and do you have any other cat back suggestions? Also should i put on electric cutouts?

That may have been when I had the 231/237(but it could be the MS3), Pacesetters, ORY, etc....I can't remember that far back on the cam!
