Whoa!! Got duals/x-pipe done!!
Anyway, I've not found anything about the Hookers online so thought I ought to report how great they sound and perform. No, this wasn't a bolt together operation. It involved a lot cutting and welding. I fabbed up some oval sections for the two spots on the left where they normally just mash the Y. I went 3" to the X and then 2.5" to the mufflers. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow. It isn't particularly pretty - I haven't welded in 30 years or so.
Here is another tip for anyone contemplating this ... I bought U bends from Jegs or Summit, brand was DynoMax. They are mandrel bent, but still shunk enough that a piece of the bend will almost slip inside the straight sections, or a bit less than twice the wall thickness. I've cut up a lot of U-bends building headers in the past, but I have never seen anything like this.

I've seen a lot bigger, and the bullets they replaced are a lot smaller. IIRC, they are no bigger than Flowmasters and some of the other options I looked at. Maybe the size is why they sound so much better than the bullets
I created and mpeg this time. If the PCs can't handle, post up or PM me and I will try again.
I am also planning on buying some 90 degree and 45 degree pieces and going over the axle before its done.
