Unfortunately I have not. And the USPS tracking number shows good but that the shipment was scheduled but never picked up. <??> Apparently Scott scheduled a pickup for 1/25 but never sent it.

Only thing I can guess is drugs, alcohol, gambling or women. People just don't get in this big a hole without one of the above. Seems that the same thing happened to the AS head guy. Wow, I am glad I am not in that kind of black hole.

I guess I need to buy an aftermarket TB for my install this week. Anyone got any thoughts. I hate to buy a 78 mm for my LS6 manifold when I really need a 90 and an LSX for the 402. Heck if I am going to spend that much money I might as well get the latter, but I was not wanting to spend the 1400$ it took.

Wow, I definitely appreciate that! I have a 98, is that a different TB than the later models??

Thanks a bunch. Let me know what the freight is and I will PayPal you for your mail cost. And UPS or usps ground will work as SDPC is just shipping the motor now so I don't anticipate needing the TB for about a week.

It is a bit sad to lose the TB as I had it drilled for my Head/Cam car and it idled beautifully.

Does anyone know about the new Shaner TB when it will be done? I'm looking at buying a TB and don't want to buy the S3 if the new billet one is coming out soon.

it should be out in the next week or so. its a 75mm like the stock one, but will flow like 100cfm more then stock! I have my name on the list to be one of the first to have one once it comes out.

My luck always sucks when it comes to this kind of crap. ALWAYS! I ordered my S3 December 6th, 2004. I got my FIRST one January 3rd. It was damaged (by USPS) turds. Took picture of said damage and sent to Shaner right away.

He confirmed that it didn't leave his shop that way. USPS said "tough doodoo," it was "packaged insufficiently." So Shaner told me he would get another one to me. I would think he would put me back in the "front of the line." It hasn't happened. He is super backed up from what he has said.

Cliff Notes: Ordered S3 Dec. 6th. It is now Feb. 11th, no S3. I am quite pissed, generally speaking...

He has been really busy trying to get the Billet TB ready for production, let alone keep up on orders. I mean, its bad that it happened to you, but be patient, it'll get there. From what I've heard, it's a very high quality piece, so you won't be disappointed.

Yeah I know, you're right and he is a nice guy. It's just that it's "racing season" here, and I ordered it at the beginning so I could put some track passes on it.

Being that the DA sucks here for most of the year, I don't have much good-air days left here in S. Florida.

I've got one of Bauer's Ported TBs and it is nice. Took about one week to get back. And the black powdercoat is flawless. It has a lot of nice features. Plus the performance was very noticeable. Too bad I hear he isn't doing them anymore.

I thought I read somewhere that Shaner can polish them for an extra fee?
Can anyone confirm this or not?

Sounds like it is clearly not safe to order from either Jantzer or Shaner. Too bad, they used to have a good rep.

Of course so did Absolute Speed.

Shaner is safe, just don't expect a quick turnaround by amy means at this point. I gotta give him some credit although I am antsy, the guy answers his phone (or his wife) everytime I call him.

Or.....maybe he SHOULD use voicemail to get **** done quicker!

Any idea what the approx. cost is going to be on the billet TB? Seems like it would be a nice upgrade Someone said it'll flow 100cfm more than stock, how much does a ported stock one flow over 100% stock?
