Just an idea, but maybe try taking your stock tips to a local exh shop and see if they can mod them for ya. I took mine to a local guy and he modded them so they would fit a 3 inch. I then used my cheapo drill and cutting compund and polished them myself. They actaully look almost like factory.
Might be worth a try.
Good luck,
Kev

Just about all the aftermarket Z28 style tips you will find use the stock 2.25" inlet. We sell custom made ones with a 2.5" inlet but none with a 3" inlet as there just wasn't enough demand. Ours are made of T304 polished stainless steel and unlike the stock tips, ours are symetrical.
Thanks

The GMMG exhaust uses a 2 1/2" tips. I have the Fast Toys tips on mine now. I'm not sure if I like look though. I'll post some pics tomorrow. My wife doesn't like them but I would like to get some more opinions ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
P.S. You can mount these two ways, because the inlet is on one side of the tip. So they can be towards the center of the car or more towards the outside. The pics will explain better than I can

I bought my chrome Z28 style tips in 2.5 inch at the local muffler shop. They were a lot cheaper than what most people were asking for used Z28 tips.

Kind of high priced but they make very nice products. I have ordered from them in the past and they have tips that look similar to the Z-28 and the GMMG. Link is below.

hey everyone,
hope eveyone had a good thanksgiving,
thanks for all the comments and feedback. i thought the GMMG was 3inch all the way through the tips. guess not ( thanks shwn ss and black z28) look good by the way. so is Fasttoys the only ones who carry the 2.5 inch? cuzz im not a fan of the chrome also. flat black like the stockers are more like my taste and stainsless specailties cost way to much.
thanks agian
