Was wondering what if any horsepower difference there is between the non egr vette ls6 intake and the Slp egr ls6 intake? I have a 2000 Trans am, i could delete the egr, but if the difference is small enough its just easier to use the slp.

its probably minimal but it sure cleans up the engine bay and saves a handful of weight off the front end of the car.

Goodness, don't cut them off! If you ever have to put it back on, you will be in for a ton of trouble. Wrap electrical tape around the plug end and tape and/or zip tie it to the closest part of the wiring harness on the engine.

You'll have stronger carbon emmissions coming out your tailpipes. This, alone, won't cause you to fail emissions testing, IMHO. However, it threw codes on my car immediately, so, if you go with a bigger cam, it would increase the potential to fail testing.
As for the wires? I used clear duct tape to seal the connector's and did what WILWAXU said ... zip-tied the wires out of the way.
