I plan on getting a P+P TB from LPE. (is that too much shorthand?) The rep there owes me a deal. He lied to me (unintentionally, I think) about their Carbon Fiber lids. I called LPE on the phone and asked him, point blank, if their lids were real Carbon Fiber. He said yes. He said you could even see the fiber weave on the under side of the lid. So, based on that conversation, I bought one. Then I received the lid and found out that it's just "Carbon Fiber look". I sent an email and related my disappointment to him. He responded with an appology and told me that he would take the lid back or, if I kept it, he would make me a deal on any other purchase. We'll see. Oh, he also told me that LPE doen't even make real carbon fiber lids. So much for truth in advertising

I had an SLP on my 01 ws6 when I bought the car. Car felt sluggish compared to my LT1, and had a major rattle from 4000 on up. I went back to the stock MAF, and the throttle responce picked up, and the rattle is gone. That thing dangerously leaned me out. My advice, don't replace it until its the limiting factor in the intake system. The stock one can support upwards of 500rwhp, why screw with it until you need to?
I do not know what you had on your car but Ron AKA Cammin BeaSSt has done a zillion of them and your throttle responce will improve and you will pick up a few HP too..it all works together with your other mods....If you do not know who GMMG is than maybe you ought to find out..these guys are the best..check the sponsor links dude
