I had Bo port my TB, notice quicker throttle response, Bo knows porting.

Bo is very knowledgable about LS1 motors & is one of the nicest car guy's you will ever meet.

I recommend Bo

Roll Tide

Thanks again Bo

I will be getting one installed this weekend, Shiznity ported/polished, but don't expect much in terms of performance, until my cam goes in next year! Maybe 1-2hp if that IMO.

Are you really paying someone to install a TB for you? You should do it yourself, It'll take 10 minutes.

NOPE, FREE, but I don't want to lug around tools to the track, so Shiz said he'll swap out for me either Friday or Race day.

Can't beat that! Besides, I would probably find a way to FI up.

Just got mine installed at the track this weekend, and picked up 1 mph 1/8 mile trap, and improved overall time by .05 -.07 secs.

(2) passes made, and I really didn't feel any pull, but it showed up in the numbers.

I sure plan on putting one in! What kind of gaskets do I need? does the Shaner come with gaskets? Thanks!

I used my old one. I think it is a o-ring not a gasket. You would not need to replace it unless it gets damaged.

Shaner does not come with o-ring. Is Shaner still doing TB's? I heard of a lot of problems dealing with Shaner. That could be past history now. I ported my own. I will look up the write-up I used. It is not hard if you have a good gremel tool.

I want one and I have the money for one. I gotta get my suspension parts installed first and then I'll buy a ported throttle body from one of our sponsors, thunderracing.com. I already have (waiting to install) the SSRA2 and the SLP lid. I'm also going to buy the smooth bellows. So, all of my induction mods will be installed all at the same time after my suspension mods are installed...

I got one and I like it. Anyone who wants to see the gains on a 100% STOCK LS1 can go to Bo's website. The dyno graph on the front page is from my car.
