All the Bolt Ons Vs. Rearend

Matt, don't do the 9 inch right now. Thats a TOTALLY overkill for a bolt-on car. As long as you leave the 3:42's alone, they wont break. I've seen a couple of guys in the 10's with a M6 on stock 3:42's, they're stronger than people think. A 9 inch would slow your car down right now because of the added weight.
Unless you're an avid drag racer and live @ the strip, you aren't gonna break 3:42's. Beef up the rear when you beef up the motor.

Thanks, that's what I'm going to do. I'll probably do the rear right before I do heads/cam (maybe a year from now). With the money the rear costs, I can get headers, duals under the axle, sfc, TB, HPTuners, and LM-1 Wideband. That's a lot of stuff. I might even get Koni SA shocks too just so the ride is better and they are adjustable so they'll be a little better at the track.
I guess I would rather replace the clutch from having to slip it than to break the rear end and cause me the mess of having to get a new one and have more downtime.
