Default *Pics* Under axle true duals (56k = long time)

Got the true duals extended out to the back at Pro Dyno last week. Got flanges welded where the dumps were so that I can remove them if I need to drop the rear. The tips are Magnaflow double wall tips part# 35121. The sound is so much better. Nevermind the fact the interior drone and noise is practically gone now, the exhaust sounds much deeper now, a lot throatier. I couldn't be happier with it.

Here are the pics :

For the 2.5" true duals with x-pipe dumped at the axle was $450

And the cost for the new extensions (going under the axle) was $200 which includes the tips.

So all in all, I ended up paying less than some of the other name brand exhausts, i.e. Borla, Corsa, B&B

Here are some pics of the true duals when I had the dumps :

I will have more pics of the new under axle part in a few weeks (car is going into the body shop Monday).

I definitly like that. Please post under car pics soon. I don;t like the drone from exhaust dumped before the axle. This could be just what I'm looking for. I'm guessing TSP system, right?

I was thinking TSP also, but do they make duals in the 2.5" now? That looks great btw.

That looks nice. I ran 3" under the axle on mine. I will post pics soon as possible. I liked the way it sounded before. I have a little rasp now before there was none. I'll take drone over Rasp anyday.

Okay let me see if I can answer everyone here

As far as the sound, it 10 times better and quieter. Lets put it this way at 60mph in sixth gear (with 4.10's) I can't even hear the exhaust with the radio on. No drone what so ever. Makes the true duals extremely better in sound and interior resonance.

Slow ride - Yes Pro Dyno is in Phoenix (Tempe) Arizona.

Sandman120 and kpowr82 - they are not TSP. All the exhaust work was custom fabbed at Pro Dyno here in Phoenix Arizona.

hmmm....there is a thread on the "other" site about a guy who seems pretty unhappy about the work ProDyno did for him. Welds didn't look too great. They seem to have done a real nice job on your exhaust though.

Where did you get those red bushings found in the bullet to frame mount picture?

I like the way the bullets are secured at that point.

I may have to do that.

kpowr82 - that thread was posted here as well, the work done on that car was done several years ago. Since then there has been new management and, as you can see, they are a lot more compitent than the previous staff.

shep28 - The exhaust was custom fabbed for my car at the shop, they provided all materials, so I couldn't tell you, sorry.

They did a damn good job on the duals if you ask me. They tuck up real nice and the welds look great too. Congrats. The rest of the car is badass too.
