LS SPYDER Intake
Has anyone ever heard of the LS Spyder intake that Performance Parts Outlet sells.
Just recently found it on their web sight as I was ordering their Steath AirBOx, and they made some crazy claims about their intake.
Like 50hp over stock LS1 intake, And like 35hp over the LS6.
Just wandering if anyone has ever seen this or if anyone has this intake.
They are selling it for $3000. Kinda alot for a peice of aluminum.
It does look pretty rowdy though!

You newbies. That intake is SO 1999-2000. The dude that basically designed NX solenoids and the FRED (John Stewart) designed that intake. BeaSSt used one for a while but switched back to an LS6 type. The claims MAY be true, but probably not on an NA 346-8cid LS1. Stick with something proven...LS6 or LSX.
EDIT: My memory rocks! Check www.mrnitrous.com. Here's a pic of Douberley's car (BeaSSt). http://www.nitrouswarehouse.com/SOBManifoldInstall.jpg

Like stated above, this intake is very old. It was out back before the LS-6 was even out. On another note, the guy who designed it passed away. I had inquired about it long ago and was told this news. They also told they were probablly not going to produce anymore since the guy who died was the one who built them. They did however say that they were looking for another compitent builder, but were unshire if they were going to find one.
