Honestly, if you can find a shop that sells a few of them, go pick out the best. It's sort of like buying fruit - you want to hold it in your hand and see if it is good. The more that I read about these, the more that I'm convinced that the hookers fall into one of three price ranges:

1) LOWEST PRICE - substandard materials; thinner tubing; thinner flanges; bad welds; bad fitment; and/or inconsistent quality

2) MID PRICE - quality materials; thicker tubing; thicker flanges; good welds; good fitment; and/or inconsistent quality

3) HIGH PRICE - quality materials; thicker tubing; thicker flanges; good welds; good fitment; and/or consistent quality

So basically, the cheeaper ones are going to be a substandard piece many times. And, when I say "substandard", I don't mean "crappy" - I just mean that they don't use as high quality materials as the other guys. They may work just fine!

The midd price ones will have both good and bad examples. Their good examples will be just as good as the higher priced ones, and their bad ones will be worse than the low priced ones. It's a "hit and miss" type game.

The high price ones will ahve the best materials, and the best quality control on their production lines. These are going to be a safe, but expensive, bet.

So, if you go to buy the mid-priced ones, try to inspect them first. If all looks well (welds, coating, no dents, etc.), then you can probably be fairly certain that you'll get a quality piece.

Just my humble opinion!

Yup, your front o2's measure the air fuel ratio of your car. Without those you'd be pretty screwed and could do some serious damage. Front o2's are a must. The only way to get them to work with LT headers is with the extensions.
