Default which muffler to put in i pipe to kill rasp???

i have pacesetters, ory and magnaflow catback. its a killer sound, and the rasp doesnt bother me too much, but i still would like to put a muffler in the i pipe to kill the rasp that is there. ive heard a bullet wont do a very good job. ive heard good things about the borla xr-1. any others that will do the job for less money?

The Dynomax bullets are comparable to the Borla XR-1...they're aluminzed, though. You can get 3" in/out at Summit for about $36. They're available in 12" (24222) and 18" (24219) lengths.

yea get the borla.. im putting a muffler on my i pipe and then a turndown with no catback, i went with a proflo twister, same thing as a moroso spiral flow, its bullet shaped and 12 inches in length. i think any of the 12 inch long ones would do the job without hurting ur flow #'s.

I put a Moroso Spiral Flow in the I pipe on my SLP Dual/Dual. I have long tubes and 3 inch Y pipe on an LT1.

the XR1's are stainless, and have a deeper sound, the bullets are aluminized and they are deep too, but the XR1's are deeper IMO. I would go with the XR1, just because they are stainless and you have a stainless I pipe with the magnaflow (if you have the catback).

Sorry, I was getting ready to leave work and did a quick post. I took the rasp out and it still sounds good, it is just maybe a little quieter than a I woul have liked.
