Default which pulley for a cammed auto? which lsx intake?

i did a search, and read some different opinions.. i dont want to machine or anything like that.. im running a stock replacement ls2 chain... i will have the idle set around 800-900 im sure with the cam im running.. so do i need overdrive or underdrive... and i need the pulley, and which belts?? i have my a/c gone, and that belt cut off if that matters thanks.

im also looking at one of those f.a.s.t. intakes.. i woudl probably get the smaller one... doubt my cam only car needs the huge one right. can i run that with the stock ported tb... i know for the 90mm fast intake u need there tb, the search told me so, but what about the smaller 78 or whatever.

Honestly, I would go with the ASP pulley and you can get the belt from the same sponsor. You really don't need the FAST manifold. You already have the LS6 from the factory. It isn't worth the money on the manifold. Just my opinion. Get an ASP and call it a day!

The ASP is underdriven. It will spin your accesories 25% slower. That reduces parasitic losses. Plus it weighs have of what the stocker is. 4.5 pounds compared to 9ish stock. Don't waste money on the alt pulley unless you have a big stereo. It costs more and isn't needed. Don't forget the new bolt!! All finished expect about 9 rwhp with a little better throttle response.

yea.. does the pulley help thruout the curve.. like lets say might i pick up 5-10lbs of tq b/t 3000-3500 rpms.. i think this cam has all the topend it will need.. im looking to add power to the whole curve now

thats why i was thinking the lsx intake...

i need 300lbs of tq at 3000k and or 350ish at 3500-4000... with the small stall im currently running until i can upgrade to a good n/a n2o converter, i need some help getting this car launched at 3000rpms.. when im spraying i doubt ill have a problem with the gobs of tq a tnt 150 shot will add.

Really the pulley is a drop in the bucket. It's a nice drop considering what it costs. It'll add to what you're trying to get to. If you must have that kind of steam and money isn't and option than the FAST is an option, but it's not like you have an LS1 intake cosidering the jump. You have an LS6 already which isn't GOD, but it's good enough considering it's already there with no money out of your pocket. The pulley is worth the hard earned cash... Is the intake? That's up to you
