Does a ported TB provide any MPG gains?

Has anyone kept records of their gas mileage before/after the ported TB job?

MY mpg went way down! The more mods I put the heavier my right foot gets!

i agree .......

wana a real advice ? port yours ...

to explain my theory just look at some of dragracers cars .. concentarate at mods .. u will find that 90% or more r hand ported , and I dynoed my car with both bbk and stock ported tb the difference was 2 hp only ....

its not worth it to pay for 350$+ as a minimum price for 2 hp.. I am right guys???
