Don't buy it. Stock maf works great, money is much better spent elsewhere. Get a lid, catback, cutout if you want power.

Are you new to the f-body world? When I first got my Camaro, I thought SLP was the end all be all of the aftermarket industry.

SLP = Garbage, SLP = Overpriced, SLP = Underperforming, SLP = Bad Customer Service, SLP = Exorbitant Shipping Prices, SLP = Almost Non-Existant Warranty Department.

Did I forget anything guys? Please support LS1Tech.com and our sponsors---->

I hope they read these, SLP is Junk and should consider selling their products to a recycling industry!

What!?

Uh-oh, I was about to include in that post that if SLP ever became a sponsor here I'd leave.

Glad I didn't

Sorry mods, you may have noticed that I've been posting a lot about SLP. It's just that after all the bashing I've seen on this board, you'd think an SLP rep would step up and defend the company, especially considering they are a sponsor. It just goes to show that they really don't give a sh*t about us.

BTW, I regretted purchasing my SLP MAF. I slapped it on as soon as I got the car. When I became a member of ls1.com, I found out that I didn't need it and may be causing me to run lean. I got rid of it and noticed no loss in power. Wasted money IMO.

As it's been said time and time again, and as I have done-De-screen the factory MAF and be done with it! At this stage, that should be all you need to do. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it has worked fine for me thus far.

That's a little harsh. SLP makes some very good products (and some poopie ones). I am pretty impressed with a lot of their products. I don't think I would ever buy anyone else's lid, very good durability.

Some companies, like mine, have a policy against employees posting about our products on web forums. If they're proactive, SLP may contact individuals who rip them and ask how they can help-- that's what we do.

I agree, some of their good product's I think are good in my opinion, I like the lid's,the hood's,some of their exhaust's,fan switch(expensive but good),and the revers TCS switch. but on the flip side you have the crappy one's like the Rim's that flake and rust, the crappy MAF,the rest of their stuff is just OK.

Well, I'd like to say this:

I am very satisfied with my lid from SLP. I was also very satisfied with my Loudmouth, until the LT's and ORY went in. Their hoods and spoilers are also of good quality. The MAF isn't a bad piece for a heavily modified car. But the customer service is lacking. I've recently been contacted by rep from SLP. So we'll see what happens. I'm not holding my breath though.

Mine has some cracks on the outer part. Hopefully it only the paint. I haven't bought anything from them either since then but I didn't have the internet at that time. With the internet I have found better deals and parts elsewhere.
