Uhh... every few months? How do you figure!? My car is lowered... about 1" and I have never had to buy new headers... had them for two years. Nor, have the headers ever been scratched. It'd be pretty damn hard to scratch them... Just think about it. The headers come down right behind the front wheels. When there's a bump, the wheels raise the entire front. Only the Y-pipe on the driver's side is an issue. But... I wouldn't recommend SLP headers.
