Cutout or long tube headers Let me know what you all think. This is mostly a fair weather show car, doesnt go to the strip often and has the Mods in my sig plus a magnaflow exhaust. I am Looking at adding that extra bit of Umpf! when the ricers pull along side (kids drive me crazy.....lol...must be the mid 30's thing) but I digress, what would you guys do? And if I get the longtubes, any advantage/disadvatage of deleting the cats (No emissions police in Indiana) and whats with the corvette parts wih the headers? I have read through many threads and still cant make up my mind so please help me.

You guys are all great thanks fo all the excellent info,what did I do without this site before. Now another maybe "dumb" question do I have to buy new cats or can I use my existing cats and just weld them into the new "Y"?

Almost forgot, also is there any reason why I wouldnt just have my muffler guy make me a "Y" pipe, he does great work. Just wondering if it would make a diff at all, because it would save me some big $$
