Hey whats up Hughes! I didn't realize you posted on here too. Yeah you should definitely do the install yourself. It's not hard at all, just time consuming. How's that Z28 you bought doing?

Yeah you need to. You need about another 6 or 7in. The headers come with a relocation kit so it's not a big deal. My friend who was helping me did that part as I'm not real keen on electrical work.

It was a 99 Trans Am. I absolutely love it. I have major mod fever and no cash though.

Hopefully I can get some headers soon.

Yeah I won't be modding mine for awhile since I just got exhaust for it. I'll get an LS6 off ebay for cheap and maybe a SSRA this summer but engine work will have to wait for awhile after.

Not too long really. I'd say about 4 or 5 hours total work time with a friend, much longer if you count breaks.

I could do it in probably 3 hrs on jackstands now that I have true duals that just bolt on and wouldn't have to cut anything like with the old exhaust.

just intalled mine this weekend too, they went in great like they said earlier the only hard part was the wires and the y-pipe the headers were very simple though
