Default QTP/Flowtech cutout question

I just recieved my QTP electric cutout, and flowtech cutout. I noticed that there is not a lot of threads on the Flowtech cutout, once the electric valve is in its place.
Did any of you have a problem in this area, or did some locktight and rtv do the trick?

When I installed mine I didn't use a gasket, or RTV - but did use locktite on the nuts, haven't lost any.

On the cutout I had there was not really enough threads to install the electric cutout. So I just took a die grinder and cut the welds off of the bolts. Then I put some longer bolts in and it worked great. I used some Nylock nuts instead of the loctite.

Well that's good to know...there's only about 2-3 threads on each bolt to use.

How did you guys route the wiring for dual cutouts? That's what I'm trying to figure out. I know there is a dranplu on the passenger side to route up through, but it there one of those on the drivers also? Or should I just bring both wires up on the passenger side?

yea those bolts are WAY to short so we just grinded them off and welded longer ones back on... thats the safest way to do it...

Great, that's what I plan to do. Just locktite the hell out of it and leave it be. Thanks!
