400rwhp possible with just bolt-ons?

People with cams and all the major bolt-ons don't make 400rwhp all the time. Plenty do, plenty don't. Depends on the cam, of course. How many hotcams do you see making 400 rwhp? Not too many......

Second, there still is no proof that it makes that kind of power. There is no proof that it doesnt either though.

anybody see their XX and XXX packages? XX is heads and cam, supposed to make 480rwhp. XXX is the XX plus a 427 shortblock, rated at 560. personally if you're going to run a 427 i should hope you're going to make a little more than 560...only 80hp from 346 -> 427 doesn't add up in my book, i'd hope you're makin more than 1hp per CI on the gain.

If it were true, you would think that they would have thousands of orders pending, but then again you just never know.

its possible, jus not probable. if you had very good knowledge of the motor, could tune the headers, collectors, port match the intake, tb, get rid of any out side restrictions, this that and the other thing. hell maybe instead of a single step in headers what about a double step or something that tied directly into y. you would have to do drastic things to get power but maybe, jus maybe..
