People with cams and all the major bolt-ons don't make 400rwhp all the time. Plenty do, plenty don't. Depends on the cam, of course. How many hotcams do you see making 400 rwhp? Not too many......

isn't a hot cam a z06 cam? I guess it might be possible to get a z06 to 400 rwhp with bolt ons considering it already has ls6 heads and cam

The problem with there kit is 2 major things.. First they will only install it in house. They wont sell it out for someone else to install, Even though its designed around a stock car and comes with everything.
Second, there still is no proof that it makes that kind of power. There is no proof that it doesnt either though.

I, for one, am not buying it. Though there apparently isn't any *proof* on either side. If it is for real ( )they must have used every dyno trick in the book.

I read about that package, sounds like smoke and mirrors to me. They don't list any header specs or primary volumes, so maybe they have a custom tuned exhaust.

anybody see their XX and XXX packages? XX is heads and cam, supposed to make 480rwhp. XXX is the XX plus a 427 shortblock, rated at 560. personally if you're going to run a 427 i should hope you're going to make a little more than 560...only 80hp from 346 -> 427 doesn't add up in my book, i'd hope you're makin more than 1hp per CI on the gain.

If it were true, you would think that they would have thousands of orders pending, but then again you just never know.
Actually that's not true. Steve Sanders (Colonel) offered to bring them a car and pay them to put their package on the car. The caveat was, if it proved they did more than bolt on's, he wouldn't pay. They declined to take the Pepsi challenge

Well then, there you have it. They are full of shiat. What do you think they do? Mild "stealthy" cam?

its possible, jus not probable. if you had very good knowledge of the motor, could tune the headers, collectors, port match the intake, tb, get rid of any out side restrictions, this that and the other thing. hell maybe instead of a single step in headers what about a double step or something that tied directly into y. you would have to do drastic things to get power but maybe, jus maybe..

I had never heard of this challenge being offered to them, but I'm sure you are right. I did see them make the challenge of taking their car to a neutral place and having it dynoed and tore down. Whoever lost, would eat the bill.
Im not taking up for them.. i dont believe it any more than you do....

He does have a twelve bolt and 4.10's, I'm hoping that he also has an A4. If it's through a torque converter those are likely okay numbers. If it's an M6 then hopefully it's untuned or he is missing some.
