Found the pic, kinda dark, but the best I have of just the headers. The motor is kinda tipped back because there is no tranny in the car (DUH) so clearance is great and only got better.

Looks to me like you could have drilled your holes up higher on the car for the hangers to get a little more clearance. My car is not lowered, but the mufflers easily clear a coke can, less than inch lower than the stock exhaust. Maybe yours does, but from the picture it looks lower than my setup.
