Cut out question
Cut out question I have a quick question on the cut out. I dont have any headers and Have it located right after the y pipe with an electric cut out. My mods are listed below. The thing is I dont know if it is just me but it seems to have more power with it closed than open. I could be wrong or maybe it is because I have no headers. It is loud but Im not sure if it is more powerful. Any comments on this.
yeah you lost low end torque. the dyno won't show you anything below 3000 rpms unfortunately. i gained 11/13 on the dyno after 3000 rpms. here's what happened at the track when i did some testing. i now have the bassani tru-dual on the car.

IMO, forget the but-o-meter.

just like mine is bad data. minimal difference. in talking with darrell from bassani, once the exhaust merges at the x-pipe, it doesn't make much difference after that. of course the more bends you have, the more restrictive it gets. but, when mandrel bent, minimal loss is achieved.
