Default Kooks Y-pipe

Will a Kooks Y pipe work with my QTP headers? I don't think it will but I thought I would ask. What other Y pipe can I use? I don't want to go with a QTP.

Have you thought about building your own? A good collector is worth it's weight in gains that may help the rest of the system flow. You would have to run back to back runs to make sure if you have time/aptitude/motivation.

Kooks Y is less money on most sponsors sites. They are the same design, wonder myself now.

if you were to mate the kooks Y up to QTP headers you would have to cut the collectors on the QTP's about a 1'', kooks collectors are made shorter then QTP's...if you didnt do this, the places in the kooks y that are flattened to make clearence for the floorboard would not line up correctly...there's a alternative for the QTP Y, check my sig, P.M. me if you have any questions...

Default Qtp Ypipe

Hello, i noticed you mentioned an alternative. I live in Hawaii, shipping for the 335 dollar Ypipe from QTP is an ungodly 135 dollars. I cant spend that kind of money for a damn Ypipe. Please let me know. I have run Kooks headers before on my prior car, but thought about giving the QTP headers a go this time.

The Y Silver was talking about is the Mufflex Y. Looks like a nice part. I have heard from several people now that the Kooks won't work so I guess I'll listen to all of them.
