Default Pacesetter Longtube Ground Clearance, and Y Pipe Info

Hey guys i was wondering how the ground clearance is on the pacesetters? My car is lowered, but im not sure with which kit, but its pretty low, but i just wanted to know if the pacesetters fit up pretty nice.
ALso i heard there y pipe is not all that great, so would i be better off going with another y-pipe, such as a TSP or has anyone had good results with the pacesetter ones. Thanks Alot

My Pacesetter collectors where about half an inch below the floorpan on my car. They look to be about even with the K-member. The issue for me was the drivers side pipe that has to run under some floor pan support bracket about a foot after the headers. The headers fit very nice and I would recommend them.

the pacesetters and the tsp y tucked us really nice, my car is not lowered, but if it was I wouldnt have any problems with them hanging to low.

mine are not too bad, they hang just below my subframes, but hardly at all. I think they tuck up real nice. you just take your time and it might take some lovin when it comes to the y-pipe.

I have the Pacesetter headers with their offroad y. I also have a poly motor mount on the drivers side that I would recommend. As you can see from this pic, my car is lowered an inch and there's plenty of room with the pacesetter y-pipe. I like it.

Mine don't hang low at all. I would get a TSP y though since it's adjustable.

get the pacesetter headers, their ory and poly motor mounts and never look back. my car is dropped about 1.5 inches, or so. i have 3.25 inches of clearance at the lowest spot on the ypipe, i have no issues with it banging at all wtih the poly mounts, its a great kit IMO, go for it

yeah it will be loud, little raspy but loud.

u dont HAVE to have them, but it helps keep everything steady, they usually go for 50 bucks. if not you may have to get a different y that doesnt fit so tight, but then u lose ground clearance. get a tape measure and measure the distance from the kmember bottom to the ground, then ill let u know how close it is to my set up

I have the Pacesetter LT's and ORY... both fit awesome and I have enough ground clearance to not worry. The car is pretty low in the front as well (WS6FirebirdTA00) seen it at the AutoFair a couple of weekends ago. The only time I've really got hung up on anything was coming out of a restaurant that had a VERY steep exit angle compared to the street and I had a 260lb friend in the car with me. I could hear/feel the collectors rub pretty hard against the pavement but it didn't damage anything. Regular street driving is the same for me v/s stock exhaust.

Here is a shot of mine from AF to give you an idea of how low it is...

i would think you would be fine for clearance, your car looks about as low as mine, maybe a tad lower but its hard to tell. my slp ypipe on stock ride height was 3.5 inches from the ground, another reason i wont buy from slp
