The LM II does come with a muffler in lieu of the open resonator of the original LM. Sorry to here the LMII disappointed you, I believe it was SLP's try at the Borla-mouth.

I don't have any dyno numbers before and after the sweet thunder, but I don't think that it choked it down any from stock. It feels stronger though, but I did a lid and the exhaust at the same time. I just wanted to get rid of the stock sound first because next spring it will be headers and true duals.

I love my borla with the mccord power plate, however it isn't incredibly deep. The nice thing is for daily driving, you can shut it up, then throw a switch to make it mean.

I have the LM2 with LT's/catted Y but I used a Powerstick Chambered muffler instead of the SLP rez. It's the 16" long 3" version. I've had this catback before on my '95 Z28 years ago. Sounds mean, rumble idle and just awesome WOT.

TSP makes a nice catback that's loud under acceleration and quiet when cruising.
