Cool Lid or FTRA???

This is gonna be my first mod and I was wondering what it should be. Lid or FTRA??? Let met know your opinions...Which would give me more HP??? Thanks for any replies!

Its best to do both at the same time. They tend to generate around the same hp when you are going 60 plus mph. If I only had to choose one though it would definitly be a lid.

Its best to do both at the same time. They tend to generate around the same hp. If I only had to choose one though it would definitly be a lid.
Yep, and I haven't done the ram air yet (not sure if I will) for a few reasons, but the lid is about the same hp increase, and it adds aesthetic value (i.e. it looks purty).

any lid thats not stock such as the slp ..... and many others just look around they are all the same

I say go with both. I have a lid right now and will shortly be getting the FTRA.

I read some where that the tsp lid is will yeild the best gains, its probley just bs, but thats the lid that I went with.

All lids are with in a couple hp of the other. But the SLP lid and TSP lid seem to seal the best, and there was a test in GM High Tech that showed these 2 gave the best gains.

How do you do both SSRA and FTRA?? Arent they the same concept. What are the gains after a lid AND FTRA...does the lid already provide enough making the ram air injection system less useful?
