Default FTRA or ws6 lower box

well..i have a non ram air TA with a aftermaket hood..(so the big ram air or whatever it is wont fit mine) i currently have the K+N fipk..i want a lid so im ditching that setup...i can either go with a FTRA or an actual lower box off a ws6 but not both..(dont have the money ) i dont have either of the setups so i was wanting some opinions..FTRA with lid or LOWER box with lid..im just tired of my K+N plus i cut the hoses to accomodate my old tnt kit and now they dont fit quite right now that its gone..also want to install a halo kit so thats my reasoning..

Why not do one now and the other later.

I run both on my car.

well bc i didnt know how much power was to be had with the ftra..i thought maybee if i got the ftra it would make just as much power as the ram air box with a lid..that way i wouldnt have to find a lower box..just thought that with the ftra it wouldnt really matter what box you had...regular or ws6.i guess if the ftra makes more power with the ws6 box..ill just get both..dang
hahah

i have a harwood ram air..i think it will fit...like i said..i cut a little too much off my both my hoses for my fipk a while back. its having a hard time staying on the oval filter..i may just try to get a longer "bellow" and see if that helps..i just liek the look of the clear smoked lid and really like the way the halo kit distributes the nitrous..so thats my reason..i wanted to go with the lid in the first place when i first bought my car but i didnt have the ram air lower part so i was just going to buy that but i got a good deal on the fipk..
