Magnaflow.. I have LT's ORY and a cam it sounds wicked. I get ton's of compliments on the sound even from my true dual buddies and to prove it is 1 of the best flowwing cat-backs I put a cut-out on it and picked up zero HP. It purrs like a kitten at idle and sceams at WOT open the cut-out and it's mean!!!!!!!! plus there is always a group purchase going on in the sales dept..

Don't have LTs yet but part of the reason I bought the Magnaflow was for the sound the catback has with or without LTs. Has a nice subdued rumble with the stock manifolds and sounds even more agressive with headers. I've heard the Hooker is great too so you probably can't go wrong either way.

To be honest, when I first got my lt's and ory I had the magnaflow catback and was embarrased to drive around town with it. The rasp was unbelievable and it had a very hollow, very loud sound, almost like a dump truck. I switched over the hooker catback and would never even consider another catback now. There is no interior resonance, little to no rasp, and the tone at WOT is awesome. Not only that, but there was a very noticeable increase in low-end torque when I put the hooker on. The magnaflow is a great catback, it just doesnt go well at all with an ory IMO.

Magnaflow, it's stainless, one of the best flowing and has huge tips. I haven't heard Hooker before, 'cept on an L98.

Hope that makes your decision easier.

I had magnaflow on my 98 Z with MAC's and ORY and it sounded great and just screamed up top!

I'd say if u had stock manifolds and y-pipe go with the hooker, but your setup defintiely go with the Magnaflow! It'll propably flow better as well

I currently have 80 series flows with a tsp ory and pacesetter long tube headers and i never get popping. In fact, it sounds alot better than almost every exhaust system. If you didn't want it loud then you should of went with 3" cats to gain back backpressure. In all honesty it should be loud you have headers and an off road y pipe, but if you want a good aggressive sound thats a little less abrupt and obnoxious, then get the headers. they are deep and they quiet up a good bit.

I bought the Magnaflow exhaust. Instead, I wish I had bought a hooker then used the left over $ to buy the Hooker exhaust.

Well guys i installed my hooker catback this past weekend. And I love it no drone at all and pretty much sounds stock on the highway. And screams at WOT. Sounds much better on than the flowmaster. I think i made the right choice. Thanks guys for the help on the poll

What do you guys think?

I have had duals and a borla catback and now hooker catback. I have gotten more compliments on my car since the hooker. The price is right to.

Hooker, It's cheap, sounds great around town and tells people to get the f*** out of the way when you stomp on it.
