Default which cat-back?

ok here is my setup Pacesetter Longtubes and TSP ory. I am looking for a new cat-back its either hooker or magnaflow. I want something that is pretty quiet on the highway but is loud when you give it the gas or playing around town. I have a flowmaster and it pops at a certian rpm and drones on the highway. But other than that it sounds good. The reason I want a different cat back is because of the popping and the drone on the highway I don't want something that is totaly quiet I like loud to
What do you guys think?

Get a hooker, can't go wrong. Won't have any popping or rasp anymore. It has a nice quiet tone at idle and when just cruising, and when you hit it it screams like all hell.

I am a hooker fan after my buddies LT1. Sounds good at idle, not too loud, but at WOT, awesome.

Hmmm, tough one. Both are fine cat-backs and are affordable. The Magnaflow is a little louder, a tiny bit little raspier, and is stainless. The Hooker is dirt cheap and has more of a deep, muscular sound. Slight Advantage:HOOKER

Both catbacks are going to sound good. I am running the Hooker and love the way it sounds when I'm cruising or when I'm under WOT. I have never run the Magnaflow but have heard it on several cars. The Hooker has a nice deep sound and I have no problems with it when taking road trips. I know we have some Hookers in stock and I believe we also have a Magnaflow as well. Good luck with your decision and feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or need anything!

The Hooker has what your looking for in the cat back you want. Gets loud at WOT, but low RPM just a little louder than stock. I did however get the single tips for exit, don't like split tips on Camaros. Splits do look good on the Trans Am.

I've got a hooker on my 95 Impala SS, and love the way it sounds. Everyone just thought I was cheap, but it sounds awesome. On my LS1 B4C I went with magnaflow. It looks better. Sounds meaner but not so refined. Honestly thats what I wanted on my LS1, a meaner, race car sound. The hooker sounds more like a smooth big block rumble, which is nice too!

I wouldn't even worry about it. They both flow exceptionally well.

I voted hooker, but either one should be a good choice.
