Car running extra slow
Car running extra slow the other day i went over a speed bump, like any normal speed bump, slowly and angled and it seemed to scrape my back end...i was like "oh ****" but really didn't think a whole lot of it, but it seems that ever since that incident, 3 nights ago my car has been running like total ****...
not maintenance wise, but speed wise, the first gear kick is almost non-existent, it seems that i've lost a lot on the low end, it just doesn't run like it did prior to that...
of course that incident may not even be what caused or is causing this, but can anybody diagnose this? or been through something similar?...it's killing me

aesthetically and visually it doesn't seem to have incurred any damage, and no repairs were made simply because i didn't think anything was hurt...

I would start by looking at fuel/spark if you cannot find any visible mechanical damage.
Start with the simple stuff first. Run some fuel injection cleaner in it. How many miles on the car? Have you changed the fuel filter? Ran any bad gas in the car? Has the engine ever sat for a long period of time without being run?
Maybe you had a plug wire come off? Sometimes they like to wiggle off under heat and vibration. A coil could have gone bad? Bad plug? Blocked injector? Bent pushrod?
Without walking through these things it's quite difficult to troubleshoot.

even if you did scrape somewhere under the car, there is nothing really you could damage to alter the performance the way you speak. It must just be a coincidence, in terms of what it is i cant help you? Need more symptoms, what have you tried?

I indeed thought of running some of the same things, and will be taking some necessary troubleshooting in the coming day or 2 to see if i can't diagnose the problem myself
