Default Slight hesitation when accelerating at times.

I've noticed recently a slight, hesitaion when accelerating sometimes. Idle is fine, constant speed is fine, WOT is fine. But sometimes, not always when getting on the throttle like 2000-3500 rpm range I can detect a slight hesitation. Any ideas? Plugs, wires, top end cleaners all recently done, fuel filter maybe 2 years old...some kinda tuning issue, bad TPS? Car has been tuned via LS1 Edit, car is a M6 with 60K.....LT's, 4:10's basic bolt-ons.....thanks.

what clutch are you running? could possibly be the plugs.....or could be a bit of knock so the computer pulls some timing.

You ought to get some kind of logger hooked up and
this will show you whether it's spark pullout and if
so, whether it's due to fuel (airflow) metering or not.
In general hesitation is going to be the closed loop
fueling, having to find its feet after stumbling over
some wrong open loop mixture, possibly getting a bit
of knock retard that persists for a few seconds. You
need the data to diagnose, speculation isn't going to
be much help. Though the usual mods list in the .sig
might.

Don't know if you've checked this - you probbaly have. Check the MAF screen for debris.

About 1 year ago I began noticing this intermitant sluggish feeling. It happened at WOT, 50% throttle, uphill, pulling trailer, racing, etc. But, I could never MAKE it happen (in other words, I could never isolate a single thing that made it happen). I checked all kinds of crazy things.

Then, finally, about 5 months ago, I checked my MAF screen by looking up through the airbox. It looked black, so I thought it may have been some carbon buildup. I reached up to rub it off, and what do I find? A 2"x2" pice of black duct tape, plus about 7" worth of the airbox seal, stuck to the MAF screen! I was breathing through a hole the size of a quarter! I took it all off, and have not had a single problem since!!

Make sure plug wires are fully seated, especially if they were just changed. I've run into this problem before.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check into it........I seem to think this has happened since I was tuned a few months back on and off, so I REALLY think it's a tuning issue.......but how do I prove that?
