Here is mine...

If you are not using cats you will have a lot more room to place the cutouts. I'd move them back as far as you can because when fresh air reaches hot O2 sensors they will foul out. You should have at least 16" of pipe between the open air and your O2 sensors.

Install your headers and y-pipe and when they are on the car decide where you can fit the cutouts. Then take the cutouts to an exhaust shop and have them weld them in, then install the electric plates yourself.

Just curious, how much did that cost you. I would love something like that.

It is VERY loud. I have gotten used to it, but I don't have them open all the time. I like to keep them closed most of the time and open them to show off or get some attention. They will definitly get my in trouble one of these days. They are a ton of fun though. One of these days I'm going to turn the turndowns to the side a little to make it louder outside the car and quieter inside.

As for the price, it was not cheap...
Two 3" cutouts - $65
Two 3" QTP electric plates - $360?
Flowmaster collector - $35
Cats - $140
Mandrel bends - $40
Labor - $200

Total - $840....Rough estimate.

Just make sure you have at least 16" between the open air of the cutout and your oxygen sensor.

You need 16" between the open air and the FRONT O2 sensors, the ones on the header collectors. Dont worry about your O2 simms.

i just mocked up the headers and cutouts and there will be like exactly 16" of space between the front 02 sensor and open air from the cutout

Sounds good. That will keep most of the fresh air away from the O2's. You will want to not have the cutouts open all the time just to make sure your O2's stay good. It will be really loud anyways you won't want to have them open all the time. Make sure you have some sort of turndown off the cutouts so you aren't blasting your floor panels with hot exhaust.
