I am not positive, but I believe that I have seen a GMMG with the CME.

Default Gmmg

Ive got a stock 02 WS6 and plan on going with the GMMG with Mecham oval tips. I heard the GMMG on a 99 WS6 with an LS6 crate motor....it was flat out awesome!

I hope all the folks participating in the poll are making an informed vote. I've never heard the Bassani in person...and I suspect many of you haven't either.

Neither. Both are overpriced and GMMG is overated. Bassani sucks period and GMMG is way too quiet for stock maifolds/cats.

Clearly you're a fan of "loud just to be loud".

Just because you like LM doesn't mean that everything else sucks. Thanks for the input though.

Is this a poll? I've never heard the Bassani. But, I have heard the GMMG with a HO C5R 427 and the sound is totally different than that of a LS1 or 6.

Loudmouth with stock manifolds and cats isn't excessively(sp) loud.

No, it isn't too terribly loud (when compared to other catbacks it is). It just doesn't have much of a tone or any sound quality to it in my opinion.

I'd say it's a great catback for those who are looking to have the volume, but bad if you're planning on LTs and ORY or any future H/C mods.

Haha no you were right on with the first statement. It is excessively loud. Thats why it is called slp loudmouth. Some people love it, some hate it (most of my neighbors hate it) but people will def hear you coming. I let my GF use my camaro all the time and I can hear her about a 1/4 mile away from my house when shes driving over with it. I am going with a good sized cam (see sig) and having some magnaflow cats welded back into my mac y-pipe to replace the gutted ones and we'll see how loud it gets. I just love the LM because everyone has a borla/magnaflow/flowmaster/corsa/hooker catback in my area and Im one of the few with the LM so I like it because it is different.

Never heard/seen anyone bash either of those exhausts like that. Had the LM and sounds awesome with stock manifolds, not much of a tuned sound to it though and resonance is flat out unbearable.
