Default Katech Adjustable Tensioner Install and Torque Settings

I have been asked many times about all the specs for installing a Katech Adjustable Tensioner, and I could never find the instructions. I found them, so here they are. I just want to make sure this is in the LS1Tech archive (for as long as this forum is around).

Katech Inc A2299 F-CAR Assembly Instructions

Tensioner is not assembled for installation - Customer must check all final torque specs upon installation onto engine.

1. Fasten 2426 to 2380 using M2437 shoulder bolt as shown. USE LOC-TITE ON SHOULDER BOLT! (No actual picture is provided in the instructions.)
2. Torque M2437 shoulder bolt to 25 ft-lbs.
3. Insert 7/16-20 bolt and washer into 2426 through slot in 2380.
4. Install pulley (not supplied, stock replacement is fine, easily found at Autozone, etc) onto 2426, torque to 40 ft-lbs.
5. Upon final installation on engine torque install bolts to 45 ft-lbs.
6. With tensioner loose, place belt on front drive.
7. Place 3/8" drive torque wrench into square on 2426.
8. Tension belt to 25 ft-lbs (set wrench to 25 ft-lbs, pull until it clicks) with torque wrench.
9. Tighten 7/16 bolt until tensioner does not move.
10. Torque 7/16 bolt to 40 ft-lbs at final belt tension setting.
11. Periodically check belt tension and 7/16 bolt torque. (between every race and practice session)
