are corvette and f-body 02 sensors the same??

While they basically are interchangible, they are different part numbers I believe. At least for the front heated O2's. People tend to recommend the corvette sensors over the F-body especially when using long tube headers.

well here is the vette plug I just won on ebay and from the pic it looks the same as my f-body one:

The O2 sensor itself it the same one used in many closed loop applications, the reason for the part number difference is the length of wire used in the harness and/or the mating plug. There is not true performance or longevity benefit using one or the other. Corvette O2s have longer wire harnesses, hence why some opt to run those with LTs.
