I've got my stock TB sitting here and i'm bored. I'd like to port, fill, and polish it against the advise of my friends who tell me i'm gonna fu** it up.
It took about a day to remove the epoxy that "migrated" through the IAC area and out the back, fill in with the Al, and then grind down + port the rest of the TB. I got sort of anxious because I didn't expect the issues with the epoxy and the extra amount of time it takes to grind down the new aluminum vs. grinding epoxy which is much less time consuming. That's why it still looks that ugly. One day I'll get motivated to go back and clean it up.
