Does anyone know what the difference in sound will be between the 16" and the larger ones? Also, what size muffler was on the sound clip? Also what exhaust setup was that?

The muffler in my and RichZ's cars is PN: 3020SB. 16" body/21" overall. FWIW, it took up just about my whole I-pipe so I'm not sure how much bigger you can go. You could probably get the 20" blank muffler in there since you already have a the LM 3" I-pipe if you wanted. (PN: 3030BL) I would take some measurments first just to make sure though. I would assume the larger the muffler, the less loud the exhaust would be. Don't know if it will change the tone or not. Wanna try it out and let us know?

As for the exhaust setup, it was stock manifolds/exhaust, with the exception of a Powerstick in the I-pipe and a Zed-style cut out. (located BEHIND the axle, not in the I-pipe)

there's a clip in page 1 of this thread...

Admittedly it's not the best, but you'll get the idea. I'll see if we can get more though. Rich and I are supposed to meet up today for a cruise so MAYBE we can get a somethin' for you guys...

Edit: I forgot, I had a 2nd clip of the exhaust as well. Unfortunately there's a lot of background noise, but here it is anyway...

We've been talking to Classic Chambered and we should be an authorized dealer in the next few days. Although, at the moment, their machines are down and there is no stock of the 3" mufflers anywhere. They hope to be back up and running in the next week or two.

I will post up more info as soon as we have it.

ok guys... I met up with RichZ today and got to hear his exhaust. (has stock exhaust with a Powerstick in the I-pipe and no rear muffler) I can honestly say that I like the sound of his, better than my own. My exhaust sounds somewhat muffled, whereas his is more crisp. Kinda hard to explain, but I like his a lot.

For those that are curious, I got a vid of Rich's exhaust as well. Since it's Rich's car, I'll let him post it up. I would expect you guys will have it in the next day or two. Just FYI.

These might be exactly what I am looking for to replace the bullets in my duals.

Soon as I can get my hands on a pair, I'll be fabbing up a set of true duals for my car to replace my GMMG

Tim, is there anyway you guys could make/sell a TD setup like the pic in the thread below? There are ALOT of people looking for somewhat quiet and deep sounding TD's. Don't know what they sound like w/ 2 chambered muffs on each pipe, but hopefully it'd quiet it down...

I'm actually planning on doing something very similiar to that setup. Depending on how well the fabrication goes, I was planning on making some sort of system available, but I gotta wait and see until I have pipe & mufflers available.

I'm more concerned with HOW it sounds. I'm sure it will be loud enough.

Awesome, keep us posted. Like I said, ALOT of guys want to go w/ TD's for the sound and tq increase, but it seems so many switch back to a Y setup b/c they are just too loud. I would think deep tone and as quiet as a TD system can be and still flow well would sell like crazy.

looks awesome, I've been thinking of 3" sweet thunder duals, but never liked the idea of a 2.5" core, but these look awesome.....

Doesn't this system in the picture have four mufflers? it looks like two 16" and two 24"? Is that more restrictive than just going 2 30" along the driveshaft and just dump over axle?
