Found these chambered mufflers today that have a 3" inside diameter, which means they don't neck down like the sweet thunder's to 2.5". They were talked about in another thread so I looked into them.
They're called Powersticks by Torquetech and even come in "blanks" which means if your welding them in, they have no coupler on the inlet or outlet.
I won't post the link, but just search for torquetechexh.

Very deep sound, you could hear my car just cruising or idling from a mile away.

I'm actually the one that mentioned the Powersticks in the other thread. Since there is some interest, I'll share some more of my experience with them. I had one installed in my I-pipe with a zed style cut out and it sounds great. Got rid of almost all of the rasp from the cut out and it's still loud, but the tone is MUCH more refined and easier to live with. After installing the Powerstick, I actually lost a little low end compared to my open cut out so I would assume they flow decently well too.
One of the local f-body guys here ended up getting a Powerstick as well and made a "dynomouth" with it. Says it's louder than my car, but loves the sound. I haven't heard it in person yet, but it doesn't surprise me since I still have a stock muffler back there. He also said that he lost a lot of low end as well. (had stock exhaust before) Maybe he will see this thread and chime in with his impressions of the muffler...
In any case, 01Blackar and I made a vid of my exhaust a while back. I think it actually sounds better with the engine under load, but you'll get the idea. You can find it here if you're interested: http://s95410392.onlinehome.us/JBrd4...brd400_rev.mpg
(Save target as)
Lastly, I bought my Powerstick and the duals/mufflers for the '69 from Torque Tech and didn't have any problems with either transaction. Would recommend them to others...

greatskiier - no problem
slp - thanks for the props...
tainted - the only other info I can give would be to do a google search for "classic chambered" and go to the Classic Chambered Exhaust webpage. I believe that is the company that actually makes the Powersticks and Torque Tech is just a reseller. In any case, the Classic Chambered site has some additional info not found on the Torque Tech site...namely some dyno results on a modified Cobra kit car and some "sights and sounds". (no F-body specific stuff though) It's worth checking out...

Check the Classic Chambered exhaust page I listed above. You can find a list of other retailers listed under the "Purchase" section. Maybe one of them will be able to help you out...
