Default HI-Flow Cats Worth It?

Debating whether or not to get some high flowing cats for my y-pipe. Curious on what yall think.

Even thought they are still illegal in Cali (on ODBII cars), I'm still going to use them. I think you'd get a little more leniency than not having htem, not too mention that the exhaust note is less raspy than ORY.

2 pretty much brand new carsounds right lol you just got those put on like what 8 months ago and then you got headers?

I have them. If I am not mistaken, they were like 75 bucks each from TexasSpeed. IMO, hi flo cats or not, there really isn't a performance loss.....but that is strictly MY OPINION. I have them just so that I don't have to catch hell with the emissions BS. CALIFORNIA= CATS.........get them.

i say they are worth it unless you have true duals, keeps the rasp down especially on LM, i have RandomTechs with my QTP Lts, and LM and my car has exactly the sound i was looking for

if he doesnt respond shoot me a pm and ill call him up. they just got put on the car not long ago. for being legal, high flow cats (at least the ones hoss has) didnt hold much back IMO as far as sound. cuts out rasp but its still loud

RandomTechs flow 598 cfm which is the best from what i've been able to find....that's why i got em and FWIW, i can't stand how LS1s sound without cats unless they have the RIGHT muffler.......sound like total **** IMO

i had flowmaster, sounded like **** with no cats

gmmg had some rasp without cats but tollerable

gmmg + h/c without cats, will not disappoint anyone lol

ive got some sound clips with f13 cam, the cars idle is so deep, there is slight rasp but not as much as stock. imp it sounds great. it sounds better than SOME (i said some not all) true dual setups i have heard
