planning on building a custom y-pipe

what size flowmaster y-collector when using the stock I-pipe
for right now only need to know rear size of collector.

You want a 3 inch exit, but i think they only make a 3.5 inch exit. Buy the 3.5in to 3in reducer cone from thunderracing.com and you'll be set. You will have to expand the end of the stock I pipe for a perfect fit, or get it welded.

I've read the 98-99 WS6 cars have bigger i-pipes than a regular TA


I have a 99 WS6 want to connect a flowmaster y-collector to stock I pipe

what size will I need for the out, I allready know the in. I want to use stock I-pipe clamp I don't want to weld the y-pipe to the I-pipe

they make a 4" collector, it's the same one that comes on QTP's y-pipes....then get the 4" to 3" reducer and you're good to go
