Arrow Texas Speed True Duals - IN!

Looking at a mini-build coming up in the next month or so, mods including a cam, full exhaust, a few other bolt ons, possibly an LS6 intake and a tune. I want to run Jet Hot Longtubes into this exhaust:

http://www.texas-speed.com/duals.asp

Anybody have any experience with this exhaust setup? I've heard it on 2 cars so far and love the sound - it's loud as hell, and thats a very good thing.

Any other accounts/opinions/other options?

I'm an a self-admitted newbie to LS1s, so all opinions are respected and appreciated.

I plan to cam the car, so hopefully I'll be happy.

Any other opinions?

BlackStang, you'll love the sound of our RumblerX system!! Put it on before you do the cam so when you put the cam in it you'll fall in love with it all over again

At 419.99 this system is one of the best priced, best performing, prefabricated exhaust systems available, you cant go wrong.

Give us a call at the shop and we'll get you set up with everything that you need!

I've had major ground clearence problems with my TSP TDs. I've tried to raise the exhaust up but there is no way to do this because the driver's side pipe is about 3/8 of an inch from the fuel lines. And it would also hit the torque arm. Who knows it might just be my car. They sound great though, good luck

We posted some pictures up a while back of a true dual setup on a car showing the ground clearance, we were able to fit a coke can under the piping the clearance was so good. The key is to hold the back of the system up with a jack to set the hangers, this should give you added ground clearance.

By doing this would I run into issues with the fuel lines?

Why Jet Hot and not Pacesetter? If i were going to do the cheapest/best performing exhaust i'd go pacetters w/o emissions and tsp duals. Just throwing it out incase you havent considered it

the fuel lines should have a heat shield over them already unless its in a different spot that im thinking of, you might try some heat deflective wrap to help keep the fuel lines from being exposed to the heat.

I've got this system, but instead of bullets I have 18" sweet thunders in their place. Sounds amazing. Plus I have a cam. A fairly big one at that.

You can also flip the fuel line brackets and bring the lines up an inch or two. A lot of people do this to gain clearance on the fuel lines.

I have a set of TSP TD's and they are GREAT! The quality of these are by far one of the bests on the market. I am lowered and still have great ground clearance...I have pics somewhere, I'll try to repost the link. Or you can do a search for the duals and you might find my original post!

I have them on my 348, decent cam, and Pacesetters. Exhaust sounds wicked. Ground clearance is not great, but its worth the trade-off.
