I tryed the restrictor method and they still ticked, so I just put plates over the holes and left the AIR tubes on top of the engine. If I ever need to get the car tested for emissions, then I'll just hook them up for the test. Its great, I get no ticking, cost me nothing, and their are no codes from the AIr since the computer still thinks everything is working. I've kept my hand by the air coming out, and it only runs for maybe 30 seconds on startup, so I doubt there wil be any problems with the cats dying out sooner as some speculate. They only inject the air to burn more emissions since the cats are cold.

i dont see how u dont throw codes
do u still have check valves and everything hooked up, just got the holes closed off??again any info on getting the check valves off is still greatly appreciated.

as for your question about getting them off.......i put the AIR tube nut in a vice.....don't go crazy, just snug it up and use a wrench to loosen the check valve from the air tube, use a large crescent wrench if you don't have a box end that big
so do alot of people delete this system and have the codes cleared to never return? i mean cleared as in auto zone clears the code, not deleting it like the tuners do, and it never comes back on? seems like eventually it will pic up that there is no air and turn back on....only reason i car is i think the SES like looks tacky on and if its on i want there to be a better reason.
