Default TB Bypass, Ported TB, and CAI/FRA [pics]

I just took the pics right after I woke up

And yes I used the BMR TB bypass kit. I didnt use the BMR clamps, re-used the stockers I hope it doesnt leak or I'll have to switch them.

Should I de-screen my MAF or should I wait until I get w/e Heads/Cam w/ a tune.

BGRA pics coming soon

Not at all....there is no use in descreening the maf...just potential problems down the road.

I ported my MAF and still have the screen in it. The best of both worlds.

Take the screen out. Port the hell out of the housing. It'll run great...I promise. With your A4, it won't mess up the shifts at all.

P.S. Yes I am being sarcastic. Please don't touch your MAF. If you do...well...just don't.

just pull the screen out but dont port it. descreening it wont hurt anything, especially if youve got tuning software.

WTF, mine has been ported and descreened for a year now and I have never had any problems and I drive my car 64 miles a day, went about 6 months with it before I ever got a tune on the car. The only problem I see with it being descreened is dirt or debris getting in there but if you have your **** sealed off there shouldnt be anything getting in there.

If everything is sealed, and something does get through your filter, I'm sure it's just going to get through your screen too. And if you say it doesn't add hp to take the screen out, atleast you're dropping weight.

I hope he's not. The screen weighs like 1oz. I'd leave the screen in, there is 0 reasons to take it out.

An ounce? Holy ****...I didn't know it weighed that much. I'm going out to remove mine now! Should pick up .1-.2 in the quarter dropping that kinda weight. And that is airflow weight too...that's a bigger gain than reducing rotating mass.
