difference between a cut-out and a TSP cat-back
a hooker muffler ( aerochamber, not the whole cat back)
and a cut-out under the passenger seat,
so cutout close, too quiet "no rumble", no v8 sound to it
open cut-out, loud but too much drone at the famous drone RPMs range and no definition in the sound.
so my question is : would the tsp rumbler quieter than the cut-out open,
would it sound any different?
thanks for your imput ( please comment on interior resonance, and sound definition)
have a good one

PS : just picked up a lid for 40$ ! maybe it ll halp with sound and performance
Where does all this backpressure stuff come from. Don't worry AT ALL about "losing" back pressure. People tend to associate a shift in the powerband with back pressure and losing low end torque. You may lose low end torque SLIGHTLY with the rumbler catback, but you're more than making up for it higher in the RPMs.To answer your question, the rumbler will be considerably quieter than the cutout, especially where drone and interior resonance is concerned. That is a pretty terrible location for a cut-out if you're worried about cabin noise.
Be careful with exhaust setups like the rumlber and loudmouth though. Once you add LT's and an ORY
anyway, I m thinking about the rumble a lot, especially since I want a cat back under 300 $, any other better sounding cat back for the same price?
thanks for those replies
