Give the kid a break..To each his own. I would never do the black hood mod..I guess hes going for that carbon fiber look, but even if I did get a carbon fiber hood I would paint it the color of my car.
I think the sidepipes would look better if they were more tucked under the car, and not so far out, but then they would hang even lower.
How do you place a jack on the side of the car now?

There was a guy at my old college that had the slotted Stingray-type sidepipes. Sounded good (loud as hell), but looked like ****....

Some of you guys are harsh. Imagine building yourself up with a mod that YOU like and then getting on here to share his work with people and then gets shot down.

I don't think it looks bad at all. I think if it were flat black it would look better though.

I dont know why everyone is going crazy over the hood. The guy said he was planning on getting a SS hood for it. The side pipes are ok man. I think it sticks out too far out though but it still is unique and stands out. I think it looks clean. GL w/ future mods and let us know when you get the sound clip uploaded.

It's a modern application of a classic look. Good job. Doesn't look any worse than some other mods. It's just not what people are used to seeing.

People get a mind set of what looks right to them and crap all over somebody that does something that doesn't fit that "look."

It was between Leary and Hooks. Not sure if it was you. I don't remember any hash marks, but it was dark. It was probably 8:30 or 9:00. I wasn't going very fast b/c DPS passed on the other side towards Txk, so I was taking it easy. At first I just saw a loud dark Camaro pass me and though it was Marcus Brooks from NB, but he has a 3.5" Mufflex and I could tell it wasn't him and I saw your sig and it seemed like it might have been you.

the more and more i look at it, it looks better and better. i think what most people ahve a problem with is its too flashy. if it were flat black, it would blend in alot more and not look so out of place. also, as i said before, you need front Ground FX b/c the side of your car looks alot lower than the front due to the pipes. if you did those 2 things, i'm sure you would get some different responses. also, if your going with the old musle car theme, then i would instead of having a black hood, paint the hood white and get some hocky stripes and a duckwing spoiler.

ricey.

A black bonnet is classic late 60/70's. Go look it up.

I'm not saying I personally like it, but get your facts right first.

I think it looks Fu..ing UGLY !

It's not tucked in nicely. A good side pipe is like the one on Roush Mustang with ground effects that have fabricated space for them....but non on Camaro...sorry dude...you got no taste !
