macs/ory/bullit... right now i running !muffler with stock mani's, cats, stock ypipe and everything. im considering some mac mid lengths (since car is lowered), an ORY (no cats), and a flo pro twister bullit muffler turned down in the I-pipe. How would this compare in sound to my current setup, and what kinda power gains would i be looking at? i dont want anything with rasp init, i love the way the car sounds now, just want a lil more power from the exhaust. also keep in ind i found this for around $200 and its all gonna be repainted/coated for me.

I have been very happy with my Mac's. They gave me a very good performance gain, gas mileage gain, and sound good. With a cutout open the exhaust sound is mean, and performance is even better. I tried to keep the car quiet on the street (daily driver), so I'm running a stock dual/dual from a 99 Firehawk as my catback. It sounds only slightly louder than stock.

I really havent been too unhappy with the "rasp" that everyone else seems to have a problem with. If it bothers you, you cal install a flowmaster Y at the end of the Y pipe and the rasp will be gone.
Im not too sure about rasp with the cutout open. I only really open it at the track...and then its so damn loud I dont notice.
