Default Cut-out or SLP LM???

hey, just bought a completely stock, (cept for a K & N filter) 2002 trans am ws.6 . . . of course stock exhaust is restrictive and too quiet so i wanna up the volume with a deep growl. . . should i get a SLP Loudmouth exhaust or a QT Cut-out??? What are the pros and cons?? Even if i get the SLP, im still getting the cut out, . . so is 400 bucks worth it??? plus, i got a flame-thrower kit from hotrodsetc.net . . . should i install this or do you think its unsafe? I live in chicago so you know there are alot of a**holes who like to tailgate. . . would love to shoot fire on their a**!!

get a cutout and keep the stock catback. A loudmouth is pretty much just a 400 dollar cutout anyways.

cutout is way better for the money. plus you get the choice of loud or quiet, i find myself opening and closing my cutout more than i thought i would, of course mine is electric.

LoudMouth pros: sounds good on a fairly stock car.
the 3.5 inch slash cut tips look sweet.
sounds better with LTs and catted Y but your neighbor's will
probably start to dislike you, especially early in the morning
and late at night.
sounds best when complimented with a fairly large cam
(233/239 in my case) but at the expense of neighbors giving
you death glares anytime you drive up the street, don't
matter what time of day now.

Too loud?

Loudmouth 2 is the quieter of the 2.

thats so true, plus you can cap the cutout if needed be.

You could buy, install a cutout and nice exhaust tips for the stock muffler cheaper then buying a LM
