My '98 Camaro still has the same exhaust tips that it did in 2005 when this thread started. Same engine too. But it has definitely gotten quieter in the last 20 years, or maybe my ears have just gotten weaker?

What about trying different tips on a hearing aid? Will that make the exhaust sound different?

Oval tips are deeper sounding than the dual tips on a 4th gen catback.
