^^^ Agreed, I used those, but in all honesty the 3rd video on GMMG's site is probably the best on how the startup sounds and such. Some people have different tastes but IMO the GMMG is amazing and well worth the money.

I had a Mufflex 4" single tip catback with TTS longtubes and a catted Y on my car and it sounded bettter than most other f-bods. I also loved the stealth look. It really cleans up the look at least on Camaros.

With the 4" Mufflex, you'll never have to upgrade. The 4" should flow enough for most anything you do the motor.

ive owned 2- 3" dual exhaust systems and now im going w/ the 4" mufflex with the flowmaster....yea thats right the clogmaster but im also installing a 4" cutout so now worrys about power.

ive heard both the GMMG and the mufflex, my buddies owned both. the mufflex is the best sounding catback WITHOUT CATS. gmmg sounds good WITH CATS but crappy without cats.

W/O cats GMMG might be the worst soudning/smelling catback ever. It has nothing but drone and rasp in the lowere RPM range. I will let you guys hear my GMMG once i get my KOOKS w/ catted y on.

P.S. i like the first 3 lines of you sig but why is all that stock stuff still around.

When are you planning on that Zeeman? I want the catted kooks setup, but my wife said no more spending on the car this year =( ( It's a bit pricey too )

I have the GMMG. Personally, I like the sound, but I mostly bought it because of the fact that I will not have to replace it again. I don't ever plan to run without cats so, I don't know about the sound without them. To me, the GMMG really needs a cam and LTs to wake it up at idle and part throttle. I have to say that at WOT, it sounds great, inside and outside. I don't have any dyno #'s yet, but when I am able to get them I will post them. I haven't heard a Mufflex in person, so I can't really comment on it. I recently heard a Borla cat-back, and at idle, it was the best I've heard yet. WOT was a little raspy for my taste, but not bad.

The KOOKS are sitting in my room waiting on a y pipe. Im on a college student budget so it might be about a month until it goes on but my plan is soon. As long as i have my exhaust/other boltons on by next spring im happy

Ok I have a TSP true dual system now with 16" bullets. I was wondering I want to lower my car but duals will prevent me. I don't have cats and I had a mufflex 3.5 w/ spintek. I traded it for the duals. Now I liked the mufflex no problems. Flowed nicely. But I hear GMMG is better and closer to the duals sound. I love my dual sound ....But w/o cats how crappy will the GMMG sound???

PS not trying to jack your thread. I put my vote in for the GMMG because I like how they sound. And I do like them better than the mufflex

I love the sound of my GMMG, reminds me an old muscle car. I've always thrown around the idea of putting a Mufflex on my car, but I want a 4" system, but I hear that the spintech muffler (single in/out and single in/dual out) flow like crap, and I the blowmaster flows like crap also, so this is why I stick with the GMMG. I mean I could change the muffler on the Mufflex, but I think that the spintech mufflers sound bad ***.

Another vote for gmmg. My car has stock exhaust besides the gmmg and I love the sound.

I was gonna get a mufflex, but spent an extra 100 and got a GMMG. Either one is a good choice. I've heard both and I think they both sound good!

Someone posted earlier about the GMMG flowing as good or better than true duals. I cant wait to hear how those claims came about.

Single 3" pipe versus dual 2" pipe or what?

I was waiting for someone to quote his ***. I saw that **** too.

I dont own either, but Ive noticed a basic majority in opinions... Most people have made their vote based upon their decision. Its only predictable that a person would vote for a product they have on their car. Thus, the added support adds to the reasoning for shelling out that much money for a damn caback.

As for myself, before I got my headers I was looking at just catbacks too. I was aiming for Borla, then when I heard how awful it was, I thought of Corsa, then when that price scared me, I tried Hooker. Now I want TDs. If you want some serious sound, get TDs. If you want serious power, get TDs.
