Take the $$ and get headers. My car came with a borla. Awsome exhaust top qualty and sounds awsome. I run no plate on mine and I never herd anyone talk about this on the site but the exhaust when gets to 4K rpm starts whistling through the exhaust tips. People tell me I hered your car burning out all through the gears or they say it sounds like a jet going by. I just tell them thats my exhaust tips. I have to get a recording and post it, it sounds sick

I thought rasp was when your exhaust is really lound and anoying when you drive at crusing speeds? Gives you a headake after a period of time

there seem to be a large group of people on here that think lound = sounds good. this is simply not the case. exhaust systems like the Loudmouth, GMMG and Borla are all just glorified straight pipes, they are loud, they crackle and spit and do not gave a pleasing sound to the ear. if you are seriously considering these exhausts just straightpipe it and itll save you money and will be louder (if thats what you are going for)

if you are daily driving your car id very highly suggest not getting any of the afore mentioned exhausts because you will just end up taking them off the car after you get tired of takeing asprin every time you drive your car.

That would better be described as drone. Rasp is high pitched nasty sound with no tone at all, which is borla all the way. Borla has no tone, and it makes a horrid popping sound at 2500 rpm. It's the posterchild of rasp.

I think borla is overpriced and overrated. And the exhaust tips make me sick
If you're gonna keep your manifolds/cats, get either gmmg or the loudmouth.
If you may get a set of longtubes in the future, either keep your magnaflow or get corsa. I have corsa on my car and absolutely love it. It is incredibly loud at WOT with a great sound and has about as much interior drone during cruise as my slp dual/dual did. Not to mention the tips
